Chinese New Year at Mililani Town Center

Join us as the Chinese New Year season begins with two of our biggest performances of the year!  In the morning, we visit participating retailers at Mililani Town Center, bringing blessings for good business in the coming new year.  The team provides lunch for all members before heading into Chinatown for the late-afternoon-into-evening Chinese New Year festivities.  We'll march in the parade through Chinatown, and members who have perfected a set will have the opportunity to perform on stage!

January 26, 2009 marks the start of the Year of the Ox!  Adult members of the Asian Lion Dance Team will spend the day in community service, visiting schools around Oahu to educate students about the tradition of the lion dance as well as to bring blessings to all for the new year.  Look for us at Mauka Lani Elementary, Mililani Uka Elementary, Gus Webling Elementary, Alvah Scott Elementary, and more!
